About me
My name is Valda, and I am an artist from Lithuania, now living in Switzerland.
My creative journey began in a family where art and craftsmanship were a natural part of everyday life. My mother creates beautiful artworks from straws, while my father has dedicated years to building a unique scissors museum. Growing up in this environment nurtured my appreciation for artistic expression and cultural heritage.
I hold a Bachelor's degree in Arts Management from Lithuania Academy of Music and Theatre, where I gained a deeper understanding of arts, culture, and creative industries. This academic foundation complements my artistic practice and continues to influence my approach to creating meaningful and enduring works.
My art is inspired by dreams, the spiritual realm, rustic aesthetics, and the intricate beauty of Rococo and Baroque architecture. Many of my ideas emerge from vivid dreams and intuitive visions, which I transform into decorative reliefs and sculptural wall art. Through my creations I seek to capture a sense of wonder, harmony, and timeless beauty.
For me, creating art is more than profession - it is a joyful expression of gratitude for the experiences that have shaped my life. Each piece is crafted with care and attention to detail, bringing elegance and positive energy into homes and workplaces.
Now based in Switzerland, I am delighted to share my work with clients who appreciate craftsmanship, artistic storytelling, and the unique character that my art brings to space. Every artwork I create is designed to inspire tranquility , beauty, and a deeper connection to the spaces we inhabit.
